Finally, in "Certificates & Secrets", click "+ New client secret", select a name for it and save it. Take a note of the value, this will also need to be added to Medallia Ideas.

Finally, you'll also need to assign users to the Medallia Ideas app via the "Enterprise Applications" menu.\XXXXX

Medallia Ideas Configuration

In Medallia Ideas, you'll need to be an admin user to complete the configuration - ask your community administrator if you need access.

If you're an admin, you'll see the admin bar at the top of the community. Select "Community Settings" and then the "Authentication" tab. Scroll down to "Microsoft Azure accounts".

Microsoft Azure accounts options

Here, you'll need to select "Enable" and enter the Application ID into the "client ID" box and the secret value into the "client secret" box.

Choose an "order" that does not conflict with the other authentication methods.

At the bottom of the page, click "Save changes".

In an Incognito/Private browser window, go to the community and test the new login method, which will now be selectable on the sign-in page.

If you already have a Medallia Ideas account, you will need to take an extra authentication step to connect that account to the new Azure login. Other users who are using Crowdicity for the first time will not encounter that step and will be immediately logged in.
