Release highlights

Seamless integration between Mindful Feedback and the Medallia Knowledge Center

All Feedback users can now select the "Contact Support" option under the Help heading in the sidebar menu to access the Knowledge Center via single sign-on (SSO).

This means that you will no longer need to maintain separate accounts for Feedback and the Knowledge Center. Once you are logged in to Feedback, you can immediately access support resources.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirement for all new organizations

MFA is now required for all new organizations. This requirement will help to ensure that only authorized users are able to access your organization's data.

To ensure maximum security of your data, no exceptions can be made to the MFA policy for any user or role. This policy will be enforced on all new organizations created after the official start of the policy, and existing clients will need to opt in within six months.

To opt in or ask questions about the policy, contact a Medallia representative.

Note: Users who access Feedback in the Genesys Cloud UI are not affected by this policy, since they do not authenticate directly into Feedback.

New password policy

We have implemented a new default password policy for all users. Users will not be required to change their passwords right away. Instead, the new policy will be applied upon the next password expiration for each user.

New guidance when configuring the Experience Cloud integration

We have added helper text for the Reporting URL field in the MEC Ingestion subtab on the Customer Settings page to advise users that a production Reporting URL must be configured when the Production Environment toggle switch is on.

Accessibility update

We have updated the default color contrast for the Next buttons in surveys and ensured that keyboard-selected options are highlighted according to accessibility best practices.

Resolved issues

Updated Service Health link

We have updated the "Service Health" link in the Help menu to point to the new status page at mindfulfeedback.status.medallia.com.

Several issues for the Spanish and Portuguese languages have been resolved.

When the user language was set to Spanish or Portuguese, the following items were previously not translated:

  • Dropdown menus and chart context menus on the Dashboard

  • The success message when updating Zendesk settings on the Customer Settings page

Users with the Agent role are able to view Dashboard data once again.

A recent issue caused the Dashboard page not to load data for Agent users, and the underlying issue has been resolved with this release. The issue affected Agent users in the Feedback UI and the Genesys Cloud UI.
