Updates to Genesys Cloud’s Agent UI require an upgrade to the Mindful Feedback Chrome extension

Upgrade the Feedback Chrome extension for compatibility with the new Genesys agent UI

Note: No action is needed for users of the Google Chrome extension for the Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework — it is not affected by this change.

During March 2025, a new agent UI is rolling out to all Genesys Cloud users. If your agents currently use our Chrome Extension for Genesys Cloud, you will need to ensure they have the latest version. Without the latest version, automatic transfers from your agents to Mindful Feedback will cease to function and your customers will not be invited to participate in a post-interaction IVR survey.

For users with automatic updates enabled for their Chrome Extensions, no action is necessary.

If you have automatic updates disabled, follow the instructions on the Chrome Web Store to update your extension.

To check the version running, click the Mindful Feedback icon in the Chrome browser extensions and select “Manage Extension”:

If the Mindful Feedback Chrome Extension is not visible, click the icon shaped like a puzzle piece, find the Mindful Feedback for GC extension in the list, and click it:
