Embedding Digital code using Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager
To embed code using Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM), complete the following steps:
- Log in to your DTM account.
In the dashboard, select the relevant company to view the company overview page. If you have only one company configured, you are automatically directed to that company overview page.
On the company overview page, select the relevant property to view the property overview page.
Click the Rules tab at the top of the screen and create a new page load rule.
In the rules conditions, specify the pages and sections of the website where this rule triggers. In most cases, the Digital tag is embedded on all website pages and sections.
Paste the tag you retrieved from your Medallia expert into the Third-Party Script section and enter a descriptive name for your tag (e.g., 'Medallia Digital tag').
Select Non-Sequential JavaScript from the Type dropdown.
Paste the Digital embed code into the text editor.
Click Save Code.
- By default, rules load at the bottom of the page. This is the recommended behavior for the Digital tag. Verify that your rule loads at the bottom of the page. Your rule should now properly execute.
