Translation vendors

This topic includes information about translation vendors that have worked with Medallia implementers on localization projects.

Medallia typically recommends that clients work with their own preferred or in-house translations vendors. This tends to be most cost effective and ensures that the client can leverage existing translation databases, vocabulary, etc.

If the client is not able to provide their own translations, either using in house translators or through a preferred vendor, consider one of these vendors. Note that these are not preferred vendors in any way, but just companies that have some previous experience working with Medallia, Inc.

Warning: Tips when working with translation vendors:
  • Tell them to save often when working in Medallia Experience Cloud. They can lose work if Experience Cloud thinks they have been inactive, and then logs them out.
  • Explain that they need to preserve variables and tags in brackets (such as [em], [/em], $CHECKOUT_DATE$, and so on).

OneSky

OneSky offers an easy to use online platform for translating strings across 50+ languages. Medallia's R&D organization is currently using OneSky for product translations.
