Create and Manage Interaction Points

The following sections describe how to create, edit, and delete interaction points.

Create an Interaction Point (Main UI)

  1. In MXO, choose Collect.

  2. Select Interaction Points.

  3. Select the Touchpoint to which you want to add an Interaction Point from the drop-down menu.

  4. Click Add Interaction Point.

  5. Enter the following details for your Interaction Point:

    FieldDescription
    Interaction Point NameName for the Interaction Point.
    Interaction Point PathThe path for the Interaction Point. On a web site, this is the path appended to the main website URI that identifies an individual page. For example, for the page https://permalink.thunderhead.com/global/support, you would enter /support.
    Customers on this Interaction Point will have Verified statusOptional. Select this checkbox if you want customers on this Interaction Point to be considered Verified.

  6. Click Create.

Create an Interaction Point (MXO Extension)

  1. Browse to the page on your website where you want to create your Interaction Point.
  2. Enable the MXO Extension and ensure it's in Edit mode.
  3. On the toolbar, click Create an Interaction.

  4. Provide a Name for your Interaction Point.
  5. Click Save.

Edit an Interaction Point

  1. In MXO, choose Collect.
  2. Select Interaction Points.
  3. Select the Touchpoint for which you want to edit an Interaction Point from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Edit icon for the Interaction Point you want to edit.
  5. Make your required changes and then click Save.

Delete an Interaction Point

  1. In MXO, choose Collect.
  2. Select Interaction Points.
  3. Select the Touchpoint from which you want to delete an Interaction Point from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Delete icon next to the Interaction Point you want to delete.
  5. Click Yes, delete it.
