Medallia for Salesforce 1.28 release notes

Released starting 1 October 2020

Medallia recommends that Customers upgrade to this release of Medallia for Salesforce to take advantage of enhancements and bug resolutions.

Customers with versions prior to 1.28 may log a Support case or contact their Medallia Services partner to obtain an upgrade URL or request a push upgrade.

Release highlights

  • Feedback Timeline Lightning component can be used on the Contact detail screen to view historical feedback and invitations for the given Contact.

  • Updated "Send Invitation When Case Closes” Process Builder template to use MedGeneric Apex class to send both Case and Contact fields to Medallia.

  • More user-friendly filter labels for Selected Drivers and NPS component filters (e.g., "3mth" is now "3 Months").

  • Outbound calls triggered by MedGeneric apex class to Medallia can be batched using the Record Size setting in Medallia Custom Settings.

  • Both date-based and transactional (non-date-based) programs support ability to disable duplicate invitation check.

  • Added ability to modify Driver field labels in Classic UI through Translation workbench.

  • Added ability to set custom color-coding for NPS and Response Rate components.

  • Updated title for Response Rate Lightning component.

  • Updated calculation for Response Rate dial component to account for various invitation statuses that indicate successful delivery or not. For example, bounced emails or quarantined invitations are not counted in the Response Rate calculation.

Important: If you're using Medallia Lightning components on the Account page, you must complete the following steps after upgrading to version 1.28:

  1. Edit the Account page on which Medallia Lightning components are displayed.

  2. Edit page using Lightning App Builder.

  3. Edit the properties you'd like to modify or use the default configuration options.

  4. Save the page.
