Sampling

Employee experience filtering raw Feedback invitation files to discard duplicate records and then go through the following stages of Sampling:

  • Filters — Sampling filters may be used to discard uneligible employees for Employee engagement programs (for example, new employees who have been with the organization for less than 6 months). For Employee services programs, you may use a staleness filter.

  • Quarantines — Quarantines may be used to prevent multiple surveys from the same program to be sent within a period of time (for example, only one Employee services survey can be sent in a 15-day period). Quarantines are not required across programs, which means that employees may be eligible to receive an Employee engagement and services survey in close succession.

Sampling funnel goes through three stages: the raw Invitation file, Sampling filters, and Quarantine.

Typically, Opt-outs and Quotas are not used for EX programs, therefore emails do not include an opt-out or unsubscribe link unless sending to personal email addresses.

Important: If there is both a CX and EX program, validate if employees are eligible to take CX surveys. If employees have opted out from CX surveys, you may need to manually remove them from the opt-out list to send EX surveys.
