Contact backfill

A Contact backfill is similar to a Backfill but it is used by instances with too much data or complex implementations where Backfill is not available or when you need to backfill only contacts for Customer Profiles.

Similar to a Backfill, Contact backfill also performs a cache rebuild for which you have to contact Medallia Support once it is finished.

Properties

Status
Indicates the following:

  • Progress — Shows the percentage of progress made.

  • State — It shows the state of the Contact backfill, which can be:

    • RUNNING.

    • STOP_REQUESTED.

Start
Starts the Contact backfill process.
