Survey emails are messages sent to contacts initiated by the Rules in the below situations:

  • Invitation to take a survey.
  • Reminder to take a survey.
  • Thank you for taking a survey.
  • Auto-reply message to send when a customer replies to one of the above messages, or clicked the Support link on a survey. For information, see Auto reply.

Warning: When Medallia, Inc. detects abnormal email delivery (such as, a spike in bounces or excessive send-volume), the responsible Medallia Experience Cloud tenant is restricted from sending any emails until the issue is resolved.

Stop sending survey reminder emails

Follow the instructions below to stop sending automatic survey reminder emails to respondents who have not completed a survey.

  1. Go to Admin>Survey Management>Recent Surveys.

  2. Find the survey in the list and select Actions.

  3. Choose Stop Reminders.

  4. Select Confirm.

The system updates the survey status, and queued reminder emails are not sent.
