Deployment warnings

Deployment warning banners appear when Experience Cloud has reduced application availability. This happens during deployments but can also happen due to excessive load on the application, hardware failures, etc.

Warning: If you were directed to this screen due to a banner at the top of the application, be cautious and heed the instructions in the banner for as long as it remains on screen.

Do not perform these actions while the banner is displayed:

  • Retry an action that didn't work. For example, if you try to sync a field and that doesn't work, do not click Retry in your browser.
  • Create a new company.
  • Run a backfill.
  • Publish topics for Text Analytics.
  • Trigger parsing for Text Analytics.
  • Avoid changing any fields that require a backfill as this will cause a number-check failure if the change was made during Slug cache rebuild. A number-check failure will stop the production server from restarting, and someone will need to manually check if this failure is legitimate and then restart the server.

The Caution banner appears when Experience Cloud is running in a partially degraded state:

Caution banner with yellow background color and message to avoid backfills, publishing text analytics, triggering text analytics, and creating a new company

The Warning banner appears when Experience Cloud is running in a significantly degraded state:

Warning banner with red background color and message to not make any changes to the company right now
