Documents reports
Documents reports allow you to post static content, such as reference documents, announcements, links to websites, audio recordings, and so on. You can create the following Documents reports, all of which you edit using HTML or MediaWiki syntax:

Documents — To provide miscellaneous documents with the company and users

Documents Client Info — To display information specific to the company

Documents Tutorial — To provide additional instructional documentation to users
File hosting
Medallia recommends that partners use their own file sharing server and add the link on subtabs (which is easier for ongoing maintenance).
Configuring Documents reports
Configure each Documents report in the same way.
- Create the report:

Open the Reporting > Reports > Standard Reports screen.

Click New.

For the ReportType property, select one of the following report types:

Documents
-
Documents Client Info
-
Documents Tutorial
-

In the MemberRoles property, choose the roles that can use this report by moving them to the right-side box.

Click Save.

Assign the report to a subtab, as described in Navigation.
- If your role has the Edit Static Content capability, edit the content in the report:
- On your Documents report subtab, click Edit.
- Enter Plain HTML or MediaWiki syntax to display content.

Click Save.
- On your Documents report subtab, click Edit.
- Assign Documents capabilities to user roles:
- Open the Company > Users > Roles > Roles screen.
- Select a role you want to see Documents reports.
- In the MemberCaps property, choose one or more of the following capabilities by moving them to the right-side box:
- View Documents Tab
- View Tutorial link
- View Client Info link
Troubleshooting
When clicking a link on a Documents report you might see the error message, This XML files does not appear to have any style information associated with it, as shown in the image below. This happens when Experience Cloud disallows access to the associated file for security reasons. Verify that read permissions on file level are set properly, re-upload the file if you made changes, then re-sign in to Experience Cloud and click the link again.
