Properties on the Metrics screen
Properties
These properties define the metrics available to users configuring impact analysis in Action plans.
- Name
- The name of the metric, as it will appear in action plans.
- Description
- Internal comments about the metric. Best practice is to include a description of the item, the date it was added, who added the it, and its intended use.
- Calculation
- The type of calculation to be performed on the selected Field. For more information, see Calculations.
- Field
- The field used as the basis for the metric. The Calculation is performed on the field you select.
If you are performing a count calculation, no field is required.
- FieldKey
- The field ID of the field used to refine the metric through a query. If you use an enumerated field, append the field ID with ::seqnum, as shown in the example above.
- FieldQueryValue
- The value of the FieldKey used in the query, surrounded by double quotation marks. If you include more than one value, separate values with commas (and no spaces), and surround the entire line in double quotation marks.
- FieldQueryFilter
- For complex that use more than one field in the query, use this property instead of the FieldKey and FieldQueryValue properties. The syntax is the same as for custom filters, as described in Custom filters.
