Step 15 - Publish your Optimization
Before you can present your optimizations to customers, you must publish that optimization. Publishing your optimization pushes your changes to your live environment.
You collect your changes in a snapshot and push those changes to the Launchpad in order to publish your optimization.
Note: You must have the Publisher role to make a snapshot live (you cannot make a snapshot live with the Admin role).
To publish your optimization
- In MXO, choose Test & Publish.
- Select Launchpad.
- Click Publish.
- Click Yes, publish to confirm you want to publish the changes in the snapshot.
- Click OK.After a snapshot is released, MXO shows the Current flag next to that snapshot and adds the snapshot to the Space's release history.You can create as many snapshots as you like, and you can change which snapshot is live as often as you like. This gives you the flexibility of creating optimizations iteratively (building upon all or part of previous optimizations) and creating different optimizations that can be used at different times and for different purposes.
