Alert Holiday Calendars

Holiday calendars identify days of the year on which to pause sending alert notifications. Alerts are still generated on holidays, but the delay timers for notifications are increased to account for holidays.

For each alert, choose a holiday calendar to use on the Alert type settings screen.

You can have multiple calendars for different business needs, such as specific calendars for different countries.

Each calendar can include

  • Dates specific a year, such as the date of the "last Monday in May."

  • Dates that happen on the same month and day every year, such as 14 July.

Properties

Name
Name of the calendar. Must be unique
Holidays for a specific year
Holidays specific to a year; can be ones that are unique to a year, or ones where the date changes, such as "the second Tuesday in November" or the date of Thanksgiving varies each year. One date per line, in format yyyy-mm-dd, such as 2020-07-14 for 14 July
Holidays on the same date every year
Holidays that occur on the same date every year, such as New Year's Day. One date per line, use a '-' for the year in this format, such as --05-01 for 1 May annually
