Adding a message button to a Facebook Page

To enable a Facebook channel to Medallia Conversations, the Facebook Page needs a "Message" button. This steps show how to create a button that sends messages to the the channel. 

Note: These instructions are current as of October 2018. See the Facebook documentation if your Page or steps are different.
Restriction: You must already have a Facebook Page. See the Facebook documentation for information about creating the page.

  1. On the Facebook Page, click Add a Button.

  2. For step 1 of the Add a Button to Your Page editor, choose Contact you, and then select Send Message.

  3. For step 2, click Messenger as the messaging mechanism.

  4. Click Finish.
