Dialogs are the parts of a conversation that present or request information from the respondent. They can present text and images, and they can request text, images, audio, and video.

Medallia Conversations supports these dialog types:

• Custom card — a navigational element available for dialogs on a Facebook channel that shows images in a carousel.

• Invite — solicits the respondent to have a web-based conversation, usually a survey, by offering one or more surveys to choose from

• Multiple Choice — presents several options to the respondent, of which the respondent chooses one.

• Open Question — requests information from the respondent as either free-form text, email address, phone number, image, audio, or video

• Statement — greets or passes simple information to the respondent.

To edit dialogs or add them to Conversations, you must first edit the target conversation.
