Make STR the default comp set

Applies STR rival lists as the default list for the selected roles. This change applies to all applicable reports (i.e. rival and benchmarking reports). If you do not set the STR competitors list as the default list, or if the imported file does not include a rival list for a particular property, the Nearby Rivals list opens instead.

Use Nearby Rivals if STR comp set is missing

 Whether or not the system applies the Nearby Rivals list to units that don't have an STR rival list.

Imported Rival List Name

Name to display in reports. The default name is Competitors. The suggested name for STR–based hospitality competitors is STR Competitors.

Note: If you have previously imported a Rival list, the unit-specific rival list only changes after importing a new list for the same unit. As a best practice, define the name before the first import. To change the name, import the latest STR file again.

Report for STR Comp Set Status

A status report on all imported rival lists in Medallia Experience Cloud, based on the most recently imported rival list. The report lists:

• The properties that have an imported rival list

• The properties that are missing an imported rival list

The report contains two tabs:

Loaded Comp Set tab

Includes this information about the imported rival lists for all properties:

• Property identifier — ID of the company unit in Experience Cloud.
• Property Medallia name — Name of the company unit in Experience Cloud.
• Property STR name — Name of the company unit according to STR.
• Property STR ID — STR ID of the company unit.
• Rival STR ID — STR ID of the rival property.
• Rival STR name — Name of the rival unit according to STR.
• Rival STR Brand — Brand name of the rival property.

Properties With No Comp set tab

Lists the properties that do not have an imported rival list.
