STR Rival lists
STR Rival lists, or STR Competitors, are lists created at a corporate level using STR data. You can import the rival lists for all the units associated with a hospitality company. The ability to import rival lists allows hospitality companies to manage rival lists at the corporate level.
After an import, the rival list for each property appears in a new list called STR Competitors (since each property is identified by its STR ID). Companies will typically send you the latest version of the import file on a monthly basis.
In this example, the STR Competitors list for an Astana hotel was created from an imported file. The STR Competitors list supplements the Nearby Rivals lists (generated by Social Feedback), and the New competitors custom list (created by a hotel manager):
For units that have an imported rival list, you can set the STR Rival list to open by default from the Rival Lists screen. If you do not set the STR competitors list as the default list, or if the imported file does not include a rival list for a particular property, the Nearby Rivals list opens instead.
