Notifications tab
Some Alchemy Experience Reporting report modules include a bell. Users tap that bell to create personalized subscriptions, which behave as alerts that are triggered when the rules of the subscription's condition have been met. When a subscriptions is triggered, the user receives a notification. For more information, see Subscriptions and notifications.
Additionally, when a user is mentioned in comments (such as in a Responses Feed module or Responses Form report), that user receives a notification.
Access the Notifications tab
To access the Notifications tab, roles need the Subscriptions Administrate and view personalized subscriptions for modules reporting permission.
In Medallia Mobile, open the Notifications tab to access the Notification center.
Notification center
The Notification center shows all of a user's notifications, including those for personal subscriptions, system alerts, mobile watchlist alerts, closed-loop feedback activities, Medallia Text Analytics historical-data processing jobs, action plan notifications, and scheduled exports.
When a user has at least one notification, a bell with a red dot appears in the Medallia Mobile toolbar.
When you access the Notification center, this screen appears:

Filters — Filters the list of notifications by type already received.

Notifications menu — Tap
to:
- Mark all notifications as read.
- Hide read notifications.
- Open the Manage Subscription dialog.
- Open the Settings dialog.

List of notifications — The Subscriptions screen lists all of your configured subscriptions.
For subscription notifications, tap any tile to open the module that triggered that notification. For mention notifications, tap the tile to open the response in the Responses Form report.

Tile menu — Tap
to mark that notification as read. All notifications remain in the notification center for 30 days, after that they are deleted.
Notification delivery status
To view the delivery status of a notification, tap either warning or
information in the notification tile.
The Notification delivery status screen displays the delivery status and further information such as the channel, date, and time of a notification.
The delivery status may be:

In Queue— The notification will be sent out shortly:

Either the notification center has not sent the notification yet, and it is ready to be sent in the next batch,
-
Or there was a problem when the notification center tried to send the notification and it will try to send it back.

Delivered — The notification was successfully sent to the SMTP or Google or Apple's push notification services.
-
Failed — Due to an error in the SMTP or push provider, the notification was not delivered.

Disabled — The notification is not generated for the channel or device:

If you have push notifications enabled on a mobile device, and set notifications to off for individual devices. For more information, see Settings screen.

If you have set one or more Do Not Disturb times to not receive any notification. For more information, see .

Manage Subscriptions screen
The Manage Subscriptions screen shows the different types of subscriptions and notifications which you have configured:
- Personal subscriptions
- Watchlist subscriptions
- Subscribed exports
In the Personal Subscriptions section of the screen, to delete or edit a subscription, tap . Tap the
clock to specify the time of day and time zone of your subscription frequency. For example, a subscription might be configured with a frequency of every week on Monday. The
clock enables you to control the exact time and time zone of those Monday checks.

The Watchlist section of the screen shows the units and unit groups you are watching. To delete or edit a Watchlist subscription, tap.
For email watchlist notifications, tap the link to open the response in the Responses Form report:
To create a new watchlist subscription, tap Add and a new screen opens:
Then, select a unit and status for which you want to receive notifications. If you do not select any units or unit groups, you will not receive notifications. To complete your configuration, tap Add.
The Subscribed Exports section shows the exports that you have scheduled to receive by email.
Settings screen
The Settings screen shows which of your devices have push notifications enabled, and enables you to turn those notifications on or off for each device. On this screen you can also configure one or more Do Not Disturb times, during which you receive no notifications.
To set up push notifications and Do Not Disturb times for each type of notification, switch to each tab:
- Personal
- Watchlist
- Community
- System
To remove or rename a device with pushed notifications enabled, tap.
Tap Set Up to open the Do Not Disturb dialog, then specify a Start Time, End Time, and Timezone. Finally, Save your configuration.
Create a score-based subscription
To create a score-based subscription:

Click the
bell in a module.

Select Add Subscription.

In the Add Subscription dialog, define:
- The subscription criteria.
- The frequency at which Medallia Experience Cloud checks to see whether the subscription is triggered.
- A label for the subscription.
