Scorecards dashboard in Mobile

Roles with the MM2 Scorecards Module permission can configure a Scorecards dashboard that contains one or more personalized data visualizations. For example, a user with data access to all units might want to see data only for a specific segment. A user that usually sees an aggregated NPS score might want to see scores for a specific question.

Note: The Scorecards dashboard is unique to the combination of user and role. Each of a user's roles has a separate Scorecards dashboard.

The Scorecards dashboard is local to each physical device. If you configure a Scorecards dashboard and then sign in on a different device as the same user and role, you will not see the scorecards configured on the first device.

Activate Scorecards dashboard

To enable the Scorecards dashboard for a role, an administrator must complete these tasks for that role:

  • In Medallia Admin Suite, assign the MM2 Scorecards Module reporting permission. For information about assigning permissions, see Roles.

  • In Admin Suite, ensure that the role's control panel includes a Question & Score Filter and a Segments Filter. For more information, see Filters and control panels.

  • In Medallia Setup, ensure the role has at least one time period configured. For more information, see Timeperiods.

  • In Setup, ensure the role has at least one calculation configured. For more information, see Calculations.

  • In Setup, ensure the role has at least one time field configured (for the Reporting Date filter required in scorecards). For more information, see Time Fields.

Important: All filters must have a value. Some filters might have a default value (such as All, as for the Segments filter in the image above).
  3. Name your scorecard.

  4. In Notification, toggle on to receive daily notifications or updates whenever the score changes.

When you select the When the score changes property, you can either select by points or percentage compared to benchmark:

  5. For any individual filter, tap the filter name, and then tap the value you want to set for that filter. For example, this image shows possible selections for the Question filter:

Possible values for the Question filter

You can select several values for the Question filter, and then click the back arrow to return to Filters screen. For the rest of the filters, selecting a value returns you to Filters screen.

Note: By default, the Y axis on scorecards is dynamic. For example, values can exceed 100 even when 100 is the maximum. If you want to configure static values for the Y axis, tap Y-axis Scale on the Filters screen, and then enter minimum and maximum values. For example, you might want 0-100 values for top box calculations, or -100-100 values for NPS calculations.
You can reorder the values for the Question filter by Drag and drop icon dragging and dropping.

  6. After you have configured all filters for the scorecard, tap Save to return to the Scorecards dashboard.

This image shows a scorecards dashboard with three scorecards. The first two scorecards are in collapsed view mode and display a mini graph next to their benchmark.

  7. Optionally, to expand the collapsed scorecard into full view, tap the scorecard.

  8. Optionally, to add another scorecard to the dashboard, tap Add icon. Add.

To open a scorecard for editing, tap Edit icon. Edit. To delete a scorecard, open it for editing and then tap Delete.

Root Cause Assist

Root Cause Assist uses generative artificial intelligence for root cause analysis of reporting data for topics, themes, and metrics.

To conduct a root cause analysis when you access a scorecard, tap the total score.

Root Cause Assist starts retrieving data with the question sent to Medallia AI, and opens a paragraph summary of the answer to the question, and the data the AI model used to generate its answer.

For example, the following image shows a Root Cause Assist answer summary about a metric and the option to display the data used to generate that summary.

RCA processing data

To expand the analysis, tap the categories of data used to generate the answer. These categories can be expanded to view more details about the data, as in the following image:

Notifications

The Notification center shows all of a user's and scorecards notifications. Subscriptions behave as alerts, and are triggered when the rules for the condition have been met. When a subscription is triggered, the user receives a notification.

When a user has at least one notification, aBell icon bell with a red dot appears in the Notifications tab in the Medallia Mobile toolbar.

When you access the Notification center, this screen appears:

For more information, see Notifications tab.

To activate Scorecard notifications and manage settings, tap the pop-message and toggle on all notification or each of the scorecard notification when you created the scorecard:
