Create and Manage Touchpoints

Create a Touchpoint

  1. In MXO, choose Collect.
  2. Select Touchpoints and then click Create.
  3. Provide the following details for your Touchpoint:

    ChannelThe Channel classification for the Touchpoint you are creating. Choose between Web, Mobile, Assisted, Social, Physical, and Outbound.
    TouchpointName for the Touchpoint you are creating.
    Base URI

    The Touchpoint's base URI (uniform resource identifier). The base URI cannot contain any additional forward slashes or any characters after the domain name (.com, .edu, .uk, .gov, and so on).

    The BASE URI box has a red outline until you have entered an acceptable URI. You will not be able to save the Touchpoint until the URI is acceptable (and the box turns blue).

    To traverse both http and https pages of a website without requiring separate < Touchpoints, preface the Touchpoint URI with http*://.

  4. Click Save.

Edit a Touchpoint

  1. In MXO, choose Collect.
  2. Select Touchpoints.
  3. Click the Edit icon next to the Touchpoint you want to edit.
  4. Make your required changes and then click Save.

Delete a Touchpoint

  1. In MXO, choose Collect.
  2. Select Touchpoints.
  3. Click the Delete icon next to the Touchpoint you want to delete.
  4. Click Yes, delete it.
Tip: When you delete a Touchpoint, all Interactions and points associated with that Touchpoint are also deleted.
