A word ignored by the parser during text analysis. Stop words are ignored typically because they serve grammatical functions but have little meaning on their own. Stop words are often auxiliary verbs (like is or have), conjunctions (like but or and), prepositions (like with or over), or articles (like a or the). To capture an exact phrase that includes a stop word (such as “deal with”), you must create a user feature for that phrase.
