Medallia for Salesforce 3.5 release notes

Medallia recommends that Customers upgrade to this release of Medallia for Salesforce to take advantage of enhancements and bug resolutions.

Customers with versions prior to 3.5 may log a Support case or contact their Medallia Services partner to obtain an upgrade URL or request a push upgrade.

Resolved issues

  • This release brings critical improvements to queue processing and error handling:

    • Enhanced queue processing logic — Resolved an issue where failed queue item records were not automatically removed after successful reprocessing.

    • Error count handling — The updated logic ensures that Queue Item records with an Error Count greater than 0 are now automatically removed when successfully processed, preventing duplicate invitations from being sent to customers' Medallia Experience Cloud instances.

These updates improve system reliability, reduce redundancy, and enhance customer interactions by eliminating duplicate notifications.

Warning: Customers upgrading from versions prior to 3.2 need to use these tools to to prevent the Send Invitation queue from being blocked when the application is unable to successfully connect to the Medallia API endpoints. Administrators can resume queue processing, allowing invitations to be processed through the Medallia API.
