Important: This page configures a legacy end-user feedback method that has been superseded by an always-on Digital Feedback survey. Medallia recommends that you keep the Enable the Express feedback link property on this screen turned off. For more information about end-user feedback, see End-user feedback.

Configures the Give Feedback link that appears at the bottom-right corner on all Setup and Medallia Web reporting screens. The link opens a feedless survey for collecting comments about the reporting and Setup tools. Medallia provides a default link and survey. This page overrides the default link properties.

Properties

Description
Information only. Identifies the Unit Group eligible to take the survey. This is the root, or company-level Unit Group.
Enable the Express Feedback Link
Turns on the translatable text link to the feedless survey. When off, the link appears as an icon: Two screen captures each of the feedback link when the option is disabled and enabled
Pass the user information to the feedback link

Passes user account and Express page information as Parameters screen to the survey. These are the parameters included in the link:

  • employee — Firstname + Lastname, such as "Skyler+Smith"
  • firstName — Firstname
  • lastName — Lastname,
  • email — Email
  • companyUrl — Company settings, URLname property
  • pageUrl — URL shown in the browser when the link was clicked.
Feedless survey prefix

URL prefix to the feedless survey. The default link (managed by Medallia Support) is: http://survey.medallia.com/?expressfeedback

The link protocol must match the site's protocol; either https or http.

 The link must be to a Medallia domain, such as medallia.com. Other values are accepted, but the actual link in the survey will be blank if the domain is not a Medallia domain.
