Medallia as Identity Provider

Integrations > Security > Outbound SSO > Medallia as Identity Provider

In some instances, Medallia Experience Cloud is an SSO identity provider (IdP) that authenticates users when they connect to an external service provider (SP). Such as when users navigate to the Knowledge Center (an SP) from Admin Suite. In this case, Experience Cloud is providing Outbound SSO.

There is one IdP configuration for each SSO protocol, and optionally one for instance-specific configurations. Each configuration has these properties.

Important: Do not change any of the settings of the default configurations without first consulting with Medallia because you might break internal communications.
Note: Every Medallia Experience Cloud instance+company has unique SAML metadata. To learn the metadata defined for a company instance, use this URL: https://<instance host name>/<company>/samlIdpMetadata.
