Notices
Changes that affect functionality.
Query API field deprecated
programRecordSchemas field in the Query API is deprecated and will be removed in a future release. This field is not compatible with Enhanced Experience Programs (EP 2.0) and can return outdated program schema information. API consumers should migrate to the programs field, which provides reliable, up-to-date program data. The deprecation is surfaced through GraphQL schema introspection, so it is visible in API explorers and clients. For information, see Transition from programRecordSchemas to programs.Sign-in by username & password is blocked by default
Beginning with the 2026 H1 release, all new accounts are blocked from using the login form (username & password) to sign in; existing accounts are not restricted. This restriction can be turned-off for an account manually by an administrator, or automatically via import specification or API option.
After January 2027, use of the login form — even for existing accounts — will require multi-factor authentication (MFA). Clients wishing to opt out of the MFA enforcement must engage their Medallia Sales contact to execute an "Insecure User Access" addendum to your software agreement. Please do so before January 2027 to ensure no impact on your program.
Additionally and beginning with this release, all new and existing accounts with a role that includes the Do Anything permission require either single sign-on (SSO) or MFA.

Email feed deprecation
JQuery support in Surveys deprecation
$(dom-selector).action() may not function correctly and could cause custom HTML to render improperly. jQuery is not available in instances not already using it. Resolved issues
Admin Suite
Fixed the Activate Topic (Topic Builder) publishing dialog so the Gen AI badge appears only on referenced topics that are actually AI-generated, instead of on every row in Topics referenced in rules.
Reporting
The Segment Distribution Snapshot module now continues to display correctly after you change the calculation on a Distribution visualization.
The Hide Empty control in the Scores Snapshot table now hides rows that have no data or fall below the configured minimum sample size, including when the table is broken out by segments.
Date pickers in Reports now display in the user's configured locale instead of falling back to a default due to missing locale files.
The Scores Snapshot module now has an option to hide empty columns when configuring segments.
Pivot Table exports to excel now complete correctly for the high cardinality row fields, previously these exports failed with an error.
Text Analytics
Page loads for accounts with large Text Analytics topic pools are now significantly faster.
