Significance Testing report helper

The Reporting > Report Helpers > Significance Testing screen allows you to configure significance testing settings for survey data in Satisfaction Table reports. For more information about significance testing, including configuration procedures, see Significance testing.

Configuring and enabling significance testing

Configure significance testing properties by using the Significance Testing report helper.

  1. For the SignificanceLevel property, enter the minimum statistical significance level (from 0.0 to 1.0) required to display indicator icons in Satisfaction Table reports.

    The default value is 0.05, which corresponds to a confidence interval of 95%, the standard for significance testing. A level of 0.1 corresponds to 90%.

  2. For the MinimumSampleSize property, enter the minimum sample size required to display indicator icons in Satisfaction Table reports.

    The default value is 1.

  3. For the MinimumAbsoluteDifference property, enter the minimum absolute difference required to display indicator icons in Satisfaction Table reports.

    The default value is 0.0.

  4. If you want to use the segment vs. non-segment comparison mode always, turn on the AlwaysCompareToNonSegment property.

    When this property is off, time series are compared to the previous cell.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Enable significance testing for roles:

    1. Open the Company > Users > Roles > Roles screen.

    2. Select a role.

    3. In the MemberCaps property, choose the Significance Testing on Satisfaction Table capability by moving it to the right-side box.
