Add automatic impact analysis
Learn how to add automatic impact analysis to reporting modules for key metrics, calculations, and filters.
Automatic impact analysis lets you track real-time metric fluctuations to quantify the effectiveness of your action plan initiatives.
The system automatically performs an impact analysis for every action plan you create. It compares metrics from a "Before Plan" baseline to an "After Plan" test period. This lets you prioritize the most effective initiatives across your company and stay informed on their progress.
How impact is measured
The calculation compares your scores across a specific timeline to quantify the total change:
-
Baseline Period — data collected before the plan starts, representing the environment before implementation.
-
Rollout Period — the time it takes to implement the plan between the baseline end and plan completion. Metrics collected here are discarded to avoid skewing your baseline or test results.
-
Test Period — data collected from the point the plan implementation is complete until the monitoring end date. This is where you see the actual impact of your plan.
-
Bottom Score (Delta) — the total change in your score compared to the baseline.
