Action Plans from Reporting
Launching Action Plans from reporting modules lets you trigger and manage strategic initiatives directly from your data insights. Instead of navigating away to the Action Plans page, you can create plans with a single click, ensuring they are automatically linked to the specific metrics, topics, or themes that triggered them.

Launch Action Plans from reporting modules
When you launch a plan from a report, the system automatically transfers critical information to save time and improve accuracy:
-
Automatic descriptions — the plan description automatically includes the name of the originating module and the specific score, theme, or topic that triggered the plan.
-
Driver and topic mapping — any reporting score or Text Analytics (TA) topic enabled in your configuration maps directly to the plan's driver or theme fields.
-
Contextual linking — each plan includes a Linked Modules field with a hyperlink that lets you jump back to the original report with the same filters applied.
-
Metric tracking — the system captures and stores the specific calculation, time period, and filters used at the moment of creation for future outcome analysis.

Use Action Plans in Reporting
You can initiate action planning from within your dashboards to reduce manual data entry and maintain context. The system supports these activities directly from supported modules:
-
Create a new plan — Create a new Action Plan without a template or use a predefined template from your library. You can also create an action plan from a Responses Form report or Responses Feed reporting module
-
Link existing plans — Associate an active Action Plan with a new module to track its impact across different metrics.
-
View linked plans — See a list of all plans currently tied to a specific module or individual response.
-
Identify activity at a glance — Look for visual counters on modules and responses to see how many active plans (Planned or In progress) are currently associated with that data.
