Owners and creators

Action plan status
Each action plan has a status that indicates the overall progress of the plan, from inception to closure:
Planned — The action plan is still being developed. While an action plan is in this state, the creator might also choose to remain the owner until the plan is ready.
In progress — The action plan has been defined, and is assigned to the correct person.
Finished — The action plan has reached its end, whether it was carried out successfully.
Cancelled — The action plan was cancelled before it could be finished. You might cancel a plan if other corrective actions has already resolved what the plan was created to accomplish.
To change the status of an action plan, open the plan for editing and then select a new value for the Status property. Every time an action plan changes its status, a notification will be triggered and sent to the owner and assignees of the action plan.
