Track Customer Responses (Outbound Communications)

For outbound communications, you configure your email template to point to the Response Tracking API and include the response codes for the positive and neutral responses you want to track.

What should my URLs look like?

The format of each URL is as follows:

Neutral Responses

  /one/rt/track/1px.gif?rid=response-code

Where:

  • rid=response-code is provided by MXO

Positive Responses

  /one/rt/redirect/?rid=response-code#your-redirect-URL

Where:

  • rid=response-code is provided by MXO
  • #your-redirect-URL is provided by your organisation

To track neutral customer responses

  • Add a tracking pixel to your email template.

Point the link for this image at the Response Tracking API, using the URL and neutral response code provided. Format the link, as follows:

  /one/rt/track/1px.gif?rid=response-code

To track positive customer responses

  • Format any links in your email to include the URL for the Response Tracking API, positive response code, and redirect URL, as follows:

    /one/rt/redirect/?rid=response-code#http://company.com/insurance-promo

For example:

  https://myoneserver.thunderhead.com/one/rt/redirect
  /?rid=dGlkPWZiMDVkNjcyLWFlYmUtNDViNy1iYjIyLTliZDhj
