Datastores
Datastores provides you with the ability to upload and store large volumes of reference data in the MXO environment. Storing the data within your MXO environment provides fast access and performance gains for accessing the data, in real-time, for decisioning. Datastores also limit network traffic between MXO and your existing ecosystem.
You create and populate Datastores, using the Example Use Case.
Within MXO , Datastores Data Adapters provide you with access to the reference data stored in a Datastore. You can access the information available in the Datastores Data Adapter from the Data Item Picker for use in decisioning.

What information can I view on the Datastores page?
The Datastores page provides you with the following:
- A Select Source panel, providing you with the ability to select the Datastore for which you want to view data. You can also view summary information about the selected Datastore.
- A Details panel, providing you with information about the actual data contained within the selected Datastore.
What information does the Data Summary provide?
The Data Summary provides you with the following details about the selected Datastore:

API Name | API Name of the selected Datastore |
Data Adapter Type | List of Data Adapters associated with the selected Datastore. Includes details about the type of key being used as the Primary key for that datastore. This is one of the following: - Customer Key - Fixed Primary Key |
Estimated Row Count | Estimated number of rows of data in the Datastore. |
Average Row Size | Average row size in (n) |
Average Batch Size | Average batch size in (n) |
Created on | Date on which the datastore was created. |
Modified on | Date on which the data in the datastore was last modified/updated. |
What information does the Details Panel provide?
The Details panel provides you with a list of the data contained within the datastore. Each row represents a single customer record, with all it's associated dat. Column names are taken from the original configuration in the selected Datastore.
How much information can I view in the Details Panel?
By default, MXO loads 100 rows of data in the Details panel. Each time you click Load More, MXO loads a further 100 rows of data.
