Change blog contributor permissions

Blog permissions allow to users to write or edit blog posts.

You need Admin permission to perform this task. See Permissions and access levels for details.

  1. Go to Admin Setup > User Management > Manage Users.

  2. Find the user account.
  3. For the selected user, click Edit > Permissions.

    A dialog opens to allow you to change the access and blog permissions for that user.
  4. Choose the Blog access for this user permission to assign.
    There are 3 levels of blog contributor permissions that a user can have:
    User
    No special permissions. User can comment on and subscribe to blog posts.
    Blog contributor
    This user can write posts for the blog.
    Blog Editor
    A blog editor can write and edit blogs. They can also manage blog categories and move posts into these categories.

  5. Click Save changes.
The user now has the assigned permissions.
