Phone Connections (super admin)

The Phone Connections page allows Mindful Feedback Super Admins to manage the phone numbers we have purchased from our telephony vendor (as of Q4 2023, Twilio is the vendor). We can also add connections to SMS vendors on this page.

Important:
  • Be careful making any changes on this page to avoid breaking any existing phone connections.
  • The Support team should avoid using this page unless surveys fail to send. In that case, you might use this page to verify that a number is correct.
  • Adding new connections requires information provided by a vendor (MessageMedia, Onfon SMS, etc.)

Following is a breakdown of what you can find in each tab on this page:

  • Manage Existing Connections: After working directly with our telephony vendor to purchase new numbers, the new numbers will show up in this tab. You can use the gear icon to edit any connection's details.
  • Add MessageMedia Connection: This tab allows you to add new MessageMedia connections. MessageMedia is an SMS and messaging vendor that we use for SMS surveys.
  • Add Custom Connection: This tab allows you to add new connections using several different APIs, including Onfon SMS. Just like the Add MessageMedia tab, you can configure new connections here to add them to the Manage Existing Connections tab.
