How to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) for an organization
Enable MFA and understand the user experience.
In the Platform Admin UI (https://admin.getmindful.com), Mindful Callback super admins can configure organizations to require multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all users in the organization. This guide details the steps for activation and the user experience with MFA enabled.
Enable MFA
Follow the steps below to enable MFA.
-
After logging into Platform Admin via Okta, open the Organizations page.
-
On the Organizations page, locate the organization you wish to edit, then click the Edit icon in the corresponding row.
-
On the Edit Organization page, select the MFA required checkbox.
-
Save the change before leaving the page.
User experience
With MFA required, users of that organization will be shown the Multi-Factor Authentication page the next time they log in. On this page, they will be provided with a QR code and optional secret code to add a Mindful Callback entry to their chosen authenticator app.
After successfully verifying a code from an authenticator app, users will be taken directly to their user profile page. At the same time, they will receive an automated email from noreply@getmindful.com with information about the change.
After this, users will be required to authenticate with MFA on each login.
Recovery codes
With MFA enabled, users will see a Show Recovery Code button on the Your Account page. They can click this button, then confirm their password, to view their personal MFA recovery code at any time.
