Medallia public PGP keys

These are the Medallia Experience Cloud public PGP keys. Share these files with companies that encrypt files sent to Experience Cloud. For more information about sharing public keys, see PGP keys.

2048-bit production — For production instances.
Sandboxes — Alternative key for all non-GovCloud sandboxes. Use this to decrypt files on a sandbox when you do not want the file to be decrypted (imported) on a production instance.
Medallia development (QA) public key — For the Experience Cloud development instances (QA).
2048-bit production and sandboxes on GovCloud — For production and sandboxes instances running on GovCloud.
1024-bit production — Deprecated. For older installations using a 1024-bit key on production instances. Note all installations support 2048-bit keys. Some older installations may use 1024-bit, though they should be upgraded to 2048-bit instead.

Important: Sandboxes use the same PGP public key as their production instance. However, sandboxes have an alternative PGP key that is not available to the production instance. Use that key when you want to ensure that data is decrypted on the sandbox only and not on the production instance. Remember to tell the external system to switch the public key when moving from a testing to production setup.

Important: Medallia Experience Cloud public PGP keys do not have an email address attached. PGP keys are not required to have an email address. While listing an email address is a common convention, it is not a standard, since multiple keys can share the same email address, making it an unreliable identifier. The key's fingerprint is the relevant identifier. For more information, see RFC 9580.
