Dynatrace
The Dynatrace integration allows you to link DXA session replays with Dynatrace.
Use cases
- Access session replays directly in Dynatrace to better understand user behaviors in sessions
- Access DXA data metrics for a session, such as DXS, from Dynatrace
Prerequisites
The DXA browser extension must be installed on Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Enabling the Dynatrace integration

In a tag manager, add a data layer variable or a global JavaScript variable using the DXA session ID integration function.
Note: For more information, see Session ID. - In Dynatrace, add a custom property to read the variable added in step 1.Note: For more information, see Define user action and user session properties for web applications in the Dynatrace documentation.
When the Decibel Session ID is captured and displayed in Dynatrace, the DXA browser extension will link it to the session replay.
