Alerts and Closed loop feedback
Closing the loop (CLF) with an individual compromises confidentiality. Alerts and Closed loop feedback are not recommended for confidential Employee Engagement programs, but may be used for Journeys & Moments programs.
Consider these situations when implementing Alerts and CLF:
-
Companies can close the loop with employees in the form of huddles, aggregate learning, and reporting to employee on the progress of initiatives stemming from employee feedback.
-
In certain critical cases, clients may require alerts on an employee feedback (for example, employees mentioning words suicide). This is non-standard and not recommend.
-
In such cases, alert notifications should be sent to a centralized group of leaders (the fewer, the better).
-
Ensure that language in the survey does not conflict the CLF workflow. For example, if you are building an alert with notification, the survey should not claim to be fully confidential and only be reporting upon in aggregate.
