Manage STR attribute filters
When using STR attributes as filters in dashboards, consider:
-
You can add, remove, or change the order of STR attribute filters by changing the fields in the Segments filter for each role's Control panel. Each field within the Segments filter should have an
so_prefix. -
You can change the STR attribute names using Translations. If using Translations in Medallia Setup, note that:
-
The filter names are listed in the Social Reporting category.
-
The report text fields are listed in the Etc category, under the Analytics Reports Text heading.
Make sure you filter for All so that you can find them.
-
- In Dashboards, the Social Data Source filter adds a multi-select dropdown that displays fields that exist in the Social media server (STR attributes). This filter cannot be used with the Segment Filters filter. Use the filter named Social Data Source and Segment Filters in the rare case that you need to include unit group filters as well as STR attribute filters. Tip: On some dashboards, it may not be appropriate to have Unit group filters.
-
If you add a Custom module to a dashboard, you must also add the plugin's corresponding filter to the modules using that dashboard. This table lists the social Custom modules plugins, along with their corresponding filters.
