Use Medallia Voices TV

Before you begin, you need to connect your Apple TV device to your Medallia Voices TV account. For more information, see Configure Medallia Voices TV and Install and sign in to Medallia Voices TV.

After logging in to Medallia Voices TV, you access a video player window with the customer responses shown as visually appealing cards on presentation mode. Voices TV displays the cards and moves to the next one automatically:

  1. Customer feedback — Details of the score and customer's comment.

  2. Main control functionality — Includes the video player main controls and settings menu. For more information, see Main controls.

  3. QR code — If a card catches the user's eye, they can scan the QR code on it for more information about the feedback and the respondent, and to take action when necessary.

  4. Progress bar — Displays the duration of each card before moving to the next one.

  1. Navigates to previous card.

  2. Plays/ Resumes or Pauses the presentation.

  3. Select Settings button Settings to customize your Voices TV. For more information, see Settings.

  4. Navigates to the next card.

Customize your Voices TV experience on the Settings screen:

Display duration

Set the duration that each card is displayed before moving to the next one. Select one of the following options:

  • 5 sec

  • 10 sec

  • 30 sec

  • 1 min

  • 5 min

Voices TV displays a progress bar at the bottom to indicate how long the user will be waiting for the next card.

Font size

Select either Medium or Large font size. When you select Medium font size, more customer feedback text is rendered in each card.

QR code

Select either on or off to activate or deactivate the QR code. Select custom to add a custom URL to be displayed on all cards.

If a card catches the user's eye, they can scan the QR code on it for more information about the feedback and the respondent, and to take action when necessary.

Comments language

Select Original to display comments in their source language. Select Translated to display the translation of comments from multiple source languages into one target language on each Voices TV card.

Theme

Select either Dark or Light theme. In this section the user can override the configuration set by the administrator. For more information, see Configure Medallia Voices TV.

Number of cards and Data fetching

Select the numbers of cards that are displayed during a set period time. By default, Voices TV loads and displays 10 cards which keeps playing for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, Voices TV loads a new batch of 10 cards.
