Standard Reports screen

Reporting > Reports > Standard Reports

Use the Standard Reports screen to define the reports end users see. To make a report available, associate it with with a subtab in Navigation. Each report can be used by a single subtab only. If you need to show the same data on different subtabs, create a separate report for each subtab. For more information about using tabs and subtabs to organize reports for your users, see Navigation.

Each standard report can display one or more report modules, and each dashboard report can contain one or more dashboard modules. Reports that show custom reports and embedded apps do not have modules. For a detailed list of the modules each report type includes, see Report type reference below.

Properties

Name

A unique name for the report.

ReportType

Defines the layout of the report, and determines which report modules are included in the report. Though you can only use one report on a tab, you might create two report modules for some reports, with each module assigned to different roles, and with each module showing a different set of fields. When users open the report, they see the report module you associated with their role. Alternatively, you might create two different reports, and associate each report with a different subtab.

Each role can be associated with one report of each type. For a list of report types and their associated report modules, see Report type reference below.

Member roles

The user roles you move to the right-side box have permission to use this standard report.

Report type reference

When you create a report, any associated modules or objects you created are added to the report automatically. For example, if you create an Action Planner List report, any Action Planner Driver fields and Action Planner Outcome field modules you created are included in that report. This association happens when you assign roles to the report.

The following table lists all of the modules and other objects associated with each report type, and lists the setup screens used to configure these modules and objects:
