Time Fields
By default, Medallia Experience Cloud uses survey Response Date for filtering on most reports, but you can use the Reporting > Report Helpers > Time > Time Fields screen to change the available and default time fields for each role. These fields are added to the Reporting Date dropdown in the Control Panel. For more information, see Filters and controls.
Properties
- Date Field Default Override

The default date field to use for reporting. If this property is not set, the role inherits the Reporting Date defined on the Company > Users > Roles > Preferences screen. If a default is not set there, the role uses the system default, Response Date.
- Default Feed Date Inherited

The default date for the selected role, either inherited from the All Accounts role or specified by the Date Field Default Override property.
- Additional Date Fields

Choose additional date fields by moving them to the right-side box. These fields are added to the Reporting Date dropdown in the Control Panel.
- Fiscal Response Date

The date field to use when Response Date is set as the reporting field and a custom time period is selected in the Control Panel. Typically this is a calculated reporting field with the Date alternative set.
- Fiscal Transaction Date

The date field to use when Transaction Date is set as the reporting field and a custom time period is selected in the Control Panel. Typically this is a calculated reporting field with the Date alternative set.
- IMReportingDate

The default field to use for invitations reports. When set to None the setting for this field is the one for the Company role (if any); otherwise, the default is the creation date. For more information, see Invitations reports.
