Truncate
Truncates the decimal part of a number to a given number of digits.
Example Use Case
An insurance company want to offer 1/3 off home insurance renewals to existing customers who haven't claimed within the five last years. After the discount is applied they want to ensure the premium presented to customers is truncated to two digits after the decimal point.
Use truncate as an alternative to the floor of function, wherever the decimal part of a number is required.
