Edit or delete a group

Groups can be renamed or removed.

You need Admin permission to perform this task. See Permissions and access levels for details.
You can change the name of an existing group, or delete a group you no longer need.
Note: Deleting a group does not affect the members of the group; the members are not also deleted.
  1. Go to Admin Setup > User Management > Manage Users.

  2. Click on the name of the group you want to modify.
    The group names are on the right-side of the screen. When you select a group name, Delete and Edit options appear below the name.

    Click Deleteto remove the group from your community.
The group change is now applied.
