Leave a community or delete my account

As a member of a Medallia Ideas community, you have a Ideas account, even if you signed in using social media or organizational credentials. Your account lets you access multiple Medallia Ideas communities.

Important: Your community postings remain visible after you are gone unless you explicitly ask for their removal.

Leave a community to keep your Medallia Ideas account and access other communities, or to keep the possibility of rejoining the community later.

  • To leave, contact the administrator of that community (email or private message) and request to be removed. Optionally request your postings be removed as well.

  • Once you have been removed, if the community is Closed (private) you will no longer be able to sign into that community; if the community is Open (public) you will still be able to see the community, but you won't be able to post an idea, vote, or comment without re-joining the community.

  • Your community postings will remain with your name attached to them unless you explicitly ask for the postings to be removed.

  • Your Ideas and votes will remain with your name attached to them.

Delete your account to permanently remove your identity from Medallia Ideas.

  • To delete your account, contact the Medallia Support team. A member of the team will respond to you to confirm that your request and delete your account within 7 working days.

    Important: For verification, contact Support using the email address you used when registering with Medallia Ideas. If you no longer have access to this, please let Support know in your request.
  • Once your account is deleted any postings, votes, or Ideas will remain, but there will be no name attached to them. You may ask that your postings be deleted.
