Sending email invitations via the Agile Research email system

You can automatically send email invitations to your contacts using Agile Research. Using this channel, each contact will receive a unique and personal hyperlink through which the responses can be matched with that contact. Unless you have a recurrence schedule activated, the survey can be filled out completely only once with this link.

Activating the distribution channel

  1. Open your survey.

  2. Select Distribute > Add / Remove channel.

  3. Select Email and then select to send with the Agile Research email system.

  4. Click Save.

  5. The following links are now visible in the Distribution overview.

    1. Contacts — Click to add/remove/import or edit the contacts.
    2. Custom Fields — Rename the custom fields used in this survey.
    3. Email invitation — Click to change the appearance and content of your email invitation.

    4. Reminders — Use this link to send automatic reminders to contacts who haven't replied yet.
    5. Thank-you mail — Opt to send a thank-you email to your respondents as soon as they reach the survey's thank-you page.

Writing your invitation

Make sure to write a compelling email invitation.

  1. Click Email invitation.
  2. The default invitation looks like this:

    You can complete the following actions:
    • Switch between languages. If you have a multilingual survey, remember to edit your invitation in every language.

    • Send examples. Test the invitation by sending an example to yourself or a colleague.

    • Reset or undo all of your changes and start from the beginning.

    • With the Rich Text Editor, you can edit the layour of the email invitation. You can change text, add a logo or background image, change the color of text and buttons, and add hyperlinks. You can also use variables to address each contact personally.

  3. Click Save when you're done editing the email invitation.

When you launch your survey, the emails will automatically be sent to your contacts.
