Theme Manager

Use the Theme Manager in the Design Studio to save your appearance customization settings as a theme, which you and other members of your team can reuse in future surveys for consistent branding.

To access Theme Manager, open a survey, then select Settings > Design Studio. Expand Manage Themes to view available options.

To apply a theme to a survey, make a selection from the dropdown and preview the survey in live appearance preview on the right. If you select Support Dark Mode, you can toggle between Edit Light and Edit Dark. Click Save Changes.

Create a theme

  1. Make changes using the Logo Settings, Color Settings, Typography Settings, Background Settings, and Appearance Settings options. See Survey appearance for descriptions of the available options.

  2. Click Save as. Then enter a name for your new theme and click Save.

The theme that you just added is now listed in the dropdown in Manage Themes.

Delete a theme

If you no longer need a certain theme for later survey projects, select the theme from the dropdown and click Delete Theme. A message appears confirming that you want to delete the theme and notifying you that this action cannot be undone. Click Delete Theme.

The theme you deleted is no longer available in the dropdown. Any surveys using the deleted theme will retain the theme's design but will switch to the Last Saved option in the dropdown.

Update a theme

To save changes to a theme, click Update Theme. This updates the theme design for future surveys, but existing surveys using this theme will remain unchanged and switch to the Last Saved option in the dropdown.

Select the Surveys using this theme dropdown in the notification that appears after you click Update Theme to view any surveys where this theme is applied. Click Update to update the theme. Click Save as New to save the theme as a new theme.

Reset a theme

If you've made changes to a theme but don't want the changes to apply to the theme, click Reset at the bottom of the design panel. This will clear all of your changes, and all design settings will match the settings of what was last saved.
