Ask Now page
Ask Now adds some temporary questions to existing surveys, which are displayed together on a new page of an existing survey. Adding questions quickly and easily allows you to get rapid feedback about new ideas.
Ask Now is particularly helpful to:
-
Dive deeper — Capture feedback about an issue being actively discussed. The ability to add questions within minutes makes this type of research possible within Medallia Experience Cloud.
-
Test new concepts — Gauge survey takers' reactions to pilot programs before introducing them on a larger scale. Validating the success of pilots with Ask Now minimizes the risk and cost associated with trying out new ideas.
-
Empower the organization — Cater questions to a unique respondents base, such as people who visit certain stores. This flexibility can be especially helpful if the company caters to multiple markets and has multiple brands or franchises.
Add an Ask Now page to contain the Ask Now anywhere except at the beginning of a survey. When you add an Ask Now page to a survey, the survey includes the Ask Now questions.
Add an Ask Now page
Complete these steps to add an Ask Now page to a survey:
-
Go to Surveys and select the survey to contain the Ask now page.
-
From the survey editor, click Add page and then select Ask Now page.
-
Give the Ask Now page a name and click Add to save it.
Restriction: Page logic is not supported in Ask Now pages. Instead, logic conditions are applied on the Ask Now itself. The Ask Now page is only shown to a survey taker when the condition on at least one Ask Now matches. If multiple Ask Now match, only one is picked randomly. -
On the survey preview canvas, click Create version to create a new survey version that includes the new Ask Now page. For more information, see Survey versions.
-
Return to the All Surveys screen, select the Most recent version of the survey thumbnail, click its option menu and choose:
-
Sync version to push changes to the Survey engine. For more information, see Synchronize versions.
-
Set as default version to make it the default version that a distribution setting uses to send Invitation email. For more information, see Set a default version.
