Create and Manage Activity Types

  1. In MXO, choose Configure.
  2. Select Activity Types.
  3. Click Create.
  4. In the Create Activity Type dialog box, enter the name of the Activity Type that you want to create.
  5. Optionally, provide a unique Activity Type Code for your new Activity Type.
    Important: You must provide an Activity Type Code if you want to use the Customer Event APIs to track customer activity that occurs outside of MXO
    .
  6. Click Save.

Edit an Activity Type

  1. In MXO, choose Configure.
  2. Select Activity Types.
  3. Click the Activity Type you want to edit.
  4. Make your required changes and then click Save.

Delete an Activity Type

  1. In MXO, choose Configure.
  2. Select Activity Types.
  3. Highlight the Activity Type you want to delete and click the Delete icon.
  4. Click Yes, delete it.
